American tennis star Christopher Eubanks has spoken on the Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal GOAT argument. Although many athletes have competed at the greatest level, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic unquestionably stand out above the rest. Between them, the trio has won a record 65 Grand Slam tournaments. With 23, the Serb is in first place, followed by the Spanish superstar by only one. The Swiss is two championships behind Nadal and retired last year.

Christopher Eubanks on this GOAT debate said that “You can argue that Federer meant more to the sport. I’m not really going to argue on that if that’s what your GOAT means. Mine is just the best all-around tennis player. Djokovic is probably going to be the best out of everyone, I’d say personally” (H/T Twitter)

He further added that “It’s difficult to really build a case based on facts, but if someone wants to argue that Federer contributed more to tennis than anybody else, that’s their GOAT, and I won’t really dispute with them.”

But the Christopher Eubanks asserts that the only person who can triumph in every situation and emerge as the greatest is none other than Novak Djokovic. Claiming that “Mine is just the finest tennis player overall. You could put any tennis player up against any opponent on any court on any day of the year, and you would probably conclude that Novak would be the best player overall. I’d say that myself.”

It is not at all surprising to believe that Novak Djokovic is the greatest tennis player of all time. After all, Djokovic is the ATP Tour player with the most Grand Slam victories. Djokovic wasn’t able to add to his total at Wimbledon thanks to Carlos Alcaraz, but there are still opportunities for him to do so in the years to come. Due to his own significant success at Wimbledon, Christopher Eubanks had a fantastic opportunity to see Djokovic play, which only served to support his long-held belief that the Serbian is the GOAT despite Roger Federer’s impact.

For instance, Stefanos Tsitsipas believes that Roger Federer is the greatest of all time because he feels that no player has had a greater influence. Though Christopher Eubanks himself wouldn’t dispute it, he views the tennis GOAT as having a different meaning for him. He only observes the tennis component. It’s ultimately a subjective matter, and as long as no player absolutely dominates it, it will always be thus.

Djokovic, who has won 23 Grand Slam championships, is still the most successful male singles tennis player in terms of sheer statistics. The Australian Open has been his most successful competition, which he has won ten times.

Nadal, on the other hand, has 22 Grand Slam victories during the Open Era, which is the second-highest total. His most notable victory came in the French Open, where he won the title 14 times and became known as the “King of Clay.” Federer had the fewest Grand Slam victories (20) of the three, but what made him so unique was that he was the first person to ever win more than 15 Grand Slams and the first to win 20 or more major championships in a lifetime.
