Stefanos Tsitsipas BLAMES Rafael Nadal’s routines as the reason for his downfall while lauding Novak Djokovic’s longevity

Stefanos Tsitsipas has recently given his take on Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic’s longetivity. The Greece is currently, at world No. 3, which he first attained on August 9, 2021, making him the highest-ranked Greek player in history, with Maria Sakkari. While Commenting on Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic while talking in an interview before his first Wimbledon match, He said,

“I don’t want to say anything bad about Rafa, but he has different routines that have cost him his career with injuries.. Novak has avoided it, his diet is the most incredible in tennis, his recovery is the most advanced I’ve seen.”

This was talking about Rafael Nadal’s how he has achieved 36 Grand slams which shows tradesman to his craft. But no one can forgot the Miraculous comeback of Novak Djokovic, he was originally injured in the Adelaide International tournament that serves as a precursor to the Australian Open. He battled through the injury and was noticeably using a bandage on his thigh to help stabilize the hamstring during his Melbourne triumph.

Novak Djokovic’s Australian Open victory was his tenth in the year’s first major and his 22nd overall. He is tied for the most Grand Slams in men’s tennis history with Rafael Nadal. Some fans also accused him for faking his injury back then but rrecovered from it in best way.

While talking about Novak Djokovic’s Injury we should also talk about Rafael Nadal’s has withdrawal from French Open because of the hip injury that has kept him out of competition since January. As his body continues to struggle with the physicality of professional tennis, Rafael Nadal’s also revealed he will probably retire in 2024. He will now take a break for a number of months to be prepared for what he believes will be the final year of his career.

The 36-year-old had his latest psoas muscle injury during his Australian Open third-round loss in January, and he was initially expected to be out for six to eight weeks. Instead, his rehabilitation did not go as expected, and he was obliged to try a new therapy. Nadal returned to training, but four months later he is still unable to exercise at high effort or without discomfort. But we have to say the sportmanship showed by both Djokovic and Nadal is amazing.
